Agra Fort Bier-Traveller (71)Also known as – Lal Qila -, this Moghul Fort is built on the ancient defensive site of Badalgarh. This is the south bank of the Yamuna River, within sight of the Taj Mahal. Agra Fort was built and extended to its present form throughout the sixteenth century. Hamayun, Akbar and Shah Jihan all feature in the story of this Fort, the British captured it in 1803.
