This park contains the location where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated – Samadhi, on January 31st, 1948. A marble memorial is surrounded by raised walkways so that people can achieve a better perspective. This also avoids the removal of one’s shoes. 
The Samadhi aside, this is a Public Park where Locals come to play. Kites, both natural and man-made hover overhead, then there’s the Chipmunks…
