Moeder Lambic Fontainas – Place Fontainas 8, 1000 Brussel
Open at 16.00 weekdays, noon at weekends, Moeder Lambic always appears to be open when one needs it: i.e. l’Ermitage has closed. It is also a reliable place to have Cantillon Kriek on tap when the Brewery is closed.
Located a short hop from Anneessens Metro and therefore Mannekin Pis, and on the main street halfway between Midi and La Bourse, Moeder Lambic is very simple to locate.
The staff are always helpful/tolerant, this is always a great place to visit. Given the number of taps, there has to be a Bier to suit.
Note, getting in and out of the tables can be a challenge. Perhaps a reason why in the warmer months, the majority sit outside.
