The local football teams are playing, most venues will be showing their matches, so you need a bar in the cente of Porto which is showing Brtish Football and has Bier. Bonaparte – Downtown may be the place.
The sister pub to Bonaparte on the seafront, it is reportedly German owned, hence Paulaner vom Fass (München, Bayern). The mangement have not played the – Irish Bar – card here, however, in most cities this may how it could be labelled. Guiness is of cousrse available on tap, but so is an IPA from Musa (Lisboa).
Bonaparte Downtown is open daily from 17.00 until late. Food is also served. Maybe it’s also worth stopping off just to see the paraphernalia adorning the walls.
