An afternoon in Manly led to the realisation of seven breweries, twenty minutes up the road by Bus 199. For those who have not already taken the ferry across to Manly, Bus B1 from Wynyard is the express route.
Broken Bay was always on the Sydney – to-do – list, Bucketty’s was chosen due to its proximity, to Broken Bay, being open at 15.00 and for the wacky name. The mention of a NEIPA was also a winner. A standard brewery in an industrial unit, it was big enough to house live music.
The young lady serving was gracious when told we were en route to another venue.
