Open daily from 17.30, noon on a Sunday, Luppolo Station was first visited by Hector and Marg in 2022. Why it had taken us ten years to find it, who knows. Located one tram stop north of Trastevere Station, this bar is particularly accessible to those staying at the bottom end of the area featuring Roma’s finest evening vibe.
The Bier was what made the Hector want to return. If there’s not a Hazy / NEIPA on the board, then there are always CANs. That aside, the board covers a broad range of Bier styles.
Snacks are on offer until late.
Friday night is Jazz Night. One hour plus, from 22.00. Booking a table in the main seating area is recommended, else one uusally finds a spot at the bar.
Indeed, sitting at the bar is always worthwhile, one gets to know the staff.
From the moment one enters, there is always a warm greeting. On a return visit, moreso.
Luppolo Station – is the best bar in Trastevere, by far.
