Bus 430 via Newtown takes one near enough. Kicks is one of a cluster of three breweries in Marrickville, Mixtape is around the corner, Sauce a bit beyond. Good chaps, welcoming, but as they close early, I suspect they knew everyone was moving on. Seating inside is restricted, there’s more seating outside.
Had this not been the start of the day, the Double Nelson DIPA at 8.5% would have been the choice. Peals of Laughter was the sensible choice.
