Broken Bay was reccommended by the chap who served us at Aether Brewing (Brisbane). You’ll find the rest – was his confident statement regarding the cluster of breweries in Brookvale, a northern Sydney suburb.
Bus 199 took us up from Manly Wharf, with a stop-off at Bucketty’s which openend an hour earlier.
Halfway through the visit, we were joined by Brenton, the brewer, who was happy to talk at length re all things – Bier. This added the personal touch. Today’s Bier was from the experimental range, brewed in adajcent premises. It was soon to run out, so well timed, Hector.

At Broken Bay they do not go in for elaborate naming of Bier, what’s in it suffices.
