Located east of U Bahnhof Südstern in Kreuzberg, Brauhaus Südstern is one of the new wave of microbreweries which sprung up in Berlin around the Millennium.
As was the Bier in all of the Hausbrauerei I visited in that era, apart from Eschenbräu, the Bier had a yeasty/unfinished taste, I have not rushed back to Südstern.
The Golden IPA at 5.7% might tempt me, however, until I’m made aware of them having improved, I will not be back.
