It was a dark and stormy night, well it was chucking it down… Looking outside, I thought I was back in the days of East Berlin.
After an excellent afternoon/evening at nearby La Source Beer co., we walked round to the brewery tap for de la Senne. Compared to La Source, the board was not that exciting, and not all that was written was available. A brewery without its own Bier? The staff were in full – tidying up – mode. Despite the few customers, no engagement. Not a great advert, and one wonders why we bothered.
I have tried a few of their range previously, only two on July 23.
Zinnebir 5.8%
Belgian Pale Ale
Yellow, with a slight haze.
A bit of a bite, otherwise not much happening here.

Stout
Despite being on the board, had to resort to a bottle.
Coffee, chocolate, a decent Bier, but was hoping for something in the same style with a higher abv to end the evening.
