BeerGeek – Vinohradska 988/62, Praha 3 – Zizkov
Jirihoz Podebrad is a Metro Station that Hector has come to know over the years, it is from here one goes across the Square and up the hill to U Sadu, the Birthplace of Hector. However, BeerGeek is a much better destination. With some thirty taps this is the very definition of a Multi-Tap Pub.
Located below street level, there is a standing area at the foot of the steps with the Bar and L-shaped seating are off to the left.
The Board is electronic which certainly impresses, even if the prices are a bit on the high end for Praha.
Food is served here too. Beware of the Chicken Wings. The – eight Chilli – rated Fear The Reaper is the spiciest food ever encountered, to the point of being inedible. This is not a challenge, but a health warning. Illustrated is the manageable Liquid Fire.
