The Gundog – 48-50 Crown St, Halifax HX1 1JB
Located in the centre of Halifax, The Gundog dates back to the eighteenth century. With five Cask Ales on Tap, the attraction may be that this is an Independent Ale House, so one can expect something different from the Mainstream.
There is a potentially large standing area in the main Bar room, however the rooms off each have their own attractions. The Edwardian room has windows onto the street, this has been the room of choice in my 2017 visits.
