France, a country that Hector tends to pass through on the Eurostar en route to Belgium, though there have been have a few visits dating back to 1971, a school trip to Chinon and Paris. Before the birth of Bier-Traveller, Marg and Hector travelled from Grenoble to Paris via Lyon, Dijon and Auxerre. This was an excellent trip, never to be repeated, and just as likely to appear in these pages. In 2015 we flew from Marrakesh to Paris, after two weeks of limited Bier thanks to Ramadan, I knew at least:
