Ma Che Siete Venuti A Fà – Roma

Ma Che Siete Venuti A Fà  –  Via Benedetta, 25, 00153 Roma

One of Trastevere’s oldest Bier establishments, when first visited in 2004, the lanterns had the Andechs (Bayern) livery.

A small bar with a similarly sized back room, this venue has benefited greatly from the smoking ban. The premises are almost comfortable, the high chairs and tables maximise the seating, it remains a bit of a squeeze at peak times.  There were signs of expansion/renovation in 2016.

When one is here, check out the other branch of the same company across the street – Bir & Fud.

DIPA – An Italian Double IPA, just a soupçon was served. This has a huge hop hit, very much in the style of Rowing Jack (Ale Browar, Polska) so excellent.
