Restaurant Rafiq – Boulevard Hassan II Immeuble Assoulil, Agadir 80000
Located in the heart of Agadir, Restaurant Rafiq occupies a corner site adjacent to a cluster of banks, easy to find then. If one wishes traditional Moroccan fayre at a competitive price, this informal restaurant is certainly worth trying. During our week in Agadir in December 2023, we visited twice.
On visit #1, the Hector spotted Tajine of Kefta Meatballs with Egg – Kofta Anda – for those familiar with the sister blog – Curry-Heute. Served hotter than hot, but not as Spicy as Kofta Anda, this made the Hector feel very much at home, and maybe wanting more. Order a side to go with this.
Marg had a well cooked piece of beef steak with a pepper sauce and array of vegetables. This impressed so much that on visit #2 it became Hector’s choice whilst Marg had pasta.
Never one to throw money away for Dessert, the prices at Rafiq enticed the Hector to have Tiramisu whilst Marg enjoyed a local pastry dish.
Everything we had impressed, and accompanied both times by a Grand Oulmès.
Rafiq, well worth investigating, and non-smoking indoors was respected.
