Dom Piwa (2, Mokra 2, 61-766 Poznan, Polska) was visited briefly on the first Poznan visit, since then it has become a priority venue. Located north of Stary Rynek in Stare Miasto, it is across from the Van Gogh Cafe, around the corner from the more expensive Chmielnik, and a block away from the outstanding Piwna Stopa.
Dom Piwa has Twelve Taps, however, it is the extensive selection of Bottles that may impress. The Better Belgian Biers are on offer plus a near guarantee of the complete Ale Browar range. If Rowing Jack is to be found, it will be on sale in Dom Piwa.
Opening at the customary 16.00, or later as it suits, Dom Piwa starts quiet. As the night progresses so people go higher, and higher still, to the upper rooms.
This has become a favourite Poznan Hostelry.
