Located on the north-
west corner of Stary Rynek, Pijalnia Wódki i Piwa (Stary Rynek 85, Poznan, Polska) is not the type of venue which The Hector normally frequents. This venue, part of a national chain, is as far removed from the Polish Craft Bier Scene as one could imagine. The mass produced Polish Biers are available, no doubt at rock bottom prices, I would never buy one. Hector was brought here for Wodka and Late Night Snacks. The Frankfurters fill a hole, the Rollmop Herring is Outstanding! That I was back within twenty-four hours says it all.
Great Food, Great Wodka, Great Atmosphere.
There are two such outlets in Stare Miasto, Poznan. This one is one the Main Square itself, the other is a couple of blocks off.
