Cuda na Kiju – Nowy Swiat 6/12, 00-497 Warszawa
Open daily at noon, Caja na Kiju is located in the heart of Warszawa’s city centre, a few blocks northeast of Centralna. Banking and Financial Centre Nowy Swiat – is the given description of this bar in a glass box. The glass box appears to be an afterthought, an addition occupying the space between the pillars holding up the modern construction above it. However, given the basement and mezzanine, it looks as though Cuda na Kija may well have been conceived as a bar.
Visited in March 2017 then again in September 2020, both evenings were memorable. The Bier list is written on the outer wall behind the bar. Sitting at the bar in 2020 with the next Covid Lockdown looming, the staff were excellent, indulgent, and showed great humour.
The Bier-Traveller database only records new entries, to date Cuda na Kija’s only entry is the somewhat disappointing 8.0% DDH NE DIPA – New Dimension (Browar Rockmill, Warszawa, Polska) confirming all the other Biers consumed here were favourites.
