Delirium Café Lisboa – Calçada Nova de São Francisco 2A, 1200-289 Lisboa
Metres away from the very useful Baixa-Chiado Metro station, Delirium Cafe proved to be a surprisingly popular bar in the heart of downtown Lisbon. Twenty years ago the choice of Bier may have been regarded as – interesting. With the number of alternative outlets selling contemporary brews, Delirium Cafe belongs in the past. A sign suggests they have been here for three years. Some of the prices are ridiculous, yet given the crowd, people are happy to pay over the odds for their Bier.
Having asked for De Garre (Brugge, Belgium), it was off. Gulden Draak was my fallback.
