Hawker Markets are food centres serving a vast array of local cuisine. Singapore has many, but reportedly only two serve Bier by Ren Min. Maxwell Food Centre is one, Old Airport Road Food Centre being the other. Maxwell food center is located a short walk from Chinatown and has its own MRT station.
In the two visits in March 2024, we became aware of the particular popularity of Tian Tian Hainansese Chicken Rice located diagonally opposite the Ren Min Bier stall. There was always a queue for this Michelin starred outlet.
Hector was here for the Bier, and this was the best locally brewed NEIPA found in Singapore.
