A basement bar in the Old City, Pod Kamennym Stromon only had three taps, yet I managed to stay for two Biers, both from Czechia. The number of photos I captured shows how quiet – our side – was. I liked the atmosphere. Beyond the bar lay a smoking room.
Citra (14º) from Krikloun Hodinin, Czechia
Gold, hazy and dry, with a good body. As ever, I was looking for more hops.
IPA (14º) Nachmelena Opice Kmov, Czechia
Amber, hazy, fruity, but flat. Again, not the hoped for hops.
