Democracy Brewing is located on the east side of Boston Common . A – worker-owned – brewery, the impression I was left with, they brew to suit themselves. As is described below, customer service may not be highest in their objectives either.
Arriving just before sunset on a May, Sunday evening, the staff were more focused on going home than serving our group of five. There was still time for a beer, or two, before the 8pm closing. One Bier proved to be enough. Here was a brewery in New England not offering NEIPA . The IPA on offer hardly lived up to the description of – Hazy.
The Bier was drinkable, enough said.
