High on a hill above Stowe VT lies this not to be missed brewery. Yes, this is where the von Trapp Family ended up having taken the train from their private station outside Salzburg (Osterreich) to Italia, and not the walk over the Alps towards Deutschland as the movie got so horribly wrong.
As an authentic Bierhaus, food is on offer, no surprises on the menu. The full array of Deutsche-style Bier is also on offer. Look out for a keg on the bar with gravity pouring.
