Great Notion is located diagonally across the street from Reuben’s Brews in the cluster of breweries in Seattle’s – West Woodlands/Ballard industrial area. With their first Seattle outlet to the south in Georgetown, the question has to be asked, where is the brew plant? If there was a plant in Ballard, it was well hidden.
A large, spacious venue, the range of taps impressed. On a different day, more than one Bier would have been sampled. Three in the New England style created, surely demanded, a longer stay.
Pulpatine 7.0% (collaboration – Equilibrium Brewery, Middletown, NY)

This could not be more hazy unless it was mango juice.
A beautiful Bier.
Hops: HBC 586, Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic.
