Just The Tap Belltown – 90 Blanchard St, Seattle, WA 98121
Occasionally one encounters a bar which justifies its own page in Bier-Traveller. 
Located in Belltown, around the corner from Cloudburst Brewing, this is an excellent place to retire to when the latter closes. The entrance is well obscured, don’t be afraid of the dark.
A – pour your own bar – the taps, both Bier and Spirits, are metred. A nominal deposit is paid on entry to verify payment.
Do you tip yourself on departure?
The main taproom gives way to an almost labyrinthine set of rooms. One room gives privacy, until the passing photographer captures all, then there’s the pinball machines for the passing wizard. The taproom, however, was found to be the main hub of activity.
A wide variety of Bier is on offer. In May 2024, Hector had Sky Kraken from Fremont Brewing, not visited since 2018. The winner, surprisingly, was from nearby Pike Brewing Company – Cosmic Pulp IPA – again a brewery not visited since 2018. That changed the next day.
