Located a fifteen minute walk from the centre of Dunedin (there is ample parking), Emerson’s, quite simply brewed the best Bier had in New Zealand, and at source. Hazed and Confused was the first NZ Bier the Hector had in New Zealand, nothing special. However, Sticky Fingers was right on the mark.
The brewery taproom is substantial with more seating on the outside terrace. A private room is available. Coffee and food is also served, a cut above the usual brewery fayre.
The service was excellent, that only three visits were managed shall remain the only regret.
Sticky Fingers 6.0%
IPA – NEIPA
A Fresh Hop brew
Decent haze, appropriate body for abv
Nelson Sauvin hops
Flavour wise, this was glorious, absolutely nothing to fault here.
The story of the first Bier delivery truck is told, this is a subsequent – mini.
