Alighting at U Bahnhof Gleisdreieck on the western side of Kreuzberg in darkness, one still has a bit of work to do locating Brlo Brwhouse. There are a few choices of direction until one finds the – Brwhouse – constructed out of containers.
On visit #1, the place was stowed, every seat occupied, standing at the bar was the only option. However, at the bar it is difficult to see the board which is high up and then behind. My Bier choice was from what was within my range of vision, and not a Brlo Bier, but I did enjoy one in Düsseldorf in 2018.
I don’t know why I had to drink from plastic.
In 2020, the Bier Garden to the rear was visited, a much more satisfying experience in terms of welcome, ambience, Bier and food, plus real glasses.
Proper gherkins, a proper snack.
NEIPA
A full on Milkshake, seemingly the right blend of New World hops, everything I look for, excellent.

Amber 65 IBU
Closer to the ‘old style’ of IPA in taste, sharp, dry.
Name inspired by a robotic character from a film franchise.
Polish Hop(e) (Maryensztadt, Polska) 5.5%
APA Amber-red No astringency, no sweetness, no dynamic flavour, drinkable, pleasant.

A fruity Rowing Jack, so West Coast dominance.
Good body, good value.
