Kaschk – Linienstraße 40, 10119 Berlin
Located directly outside Rosa-Luxemburg Platz U Bahn station in the heart of Berlin, Kaschk has the attraction of being open daily at noon. Few Craft Beer pubs open this early, they also close in the small hours.
The layout is informal with bench seating occupying the middle of the main room. Shuffelboard was visibly an attraction for some. The barman may have been the attraction for the moll who sat at the bar throughout our visit, she acted as if she owned the place, perhaps she did.
With twelve taps, enough to choose from. On the evening of Visit #1 in September 2020, the barman was happy to give tasters until I found the closest to what I was seeking, though his descriptions did not match my experience. .
Juicy and I know Wit at 5.0% (Hawaiian Shirt Brewing, Nederland), a Passionfruit IPA proved to be a combination of Sour & IPA. With a slight haze, enjoyable, but I was not tempted to have another.
