Little India – Singapore

As the author of Curry-Heute and having been to India itself with Marg, is it any surprise that our accommodation in Singapore was minutes from here, or that this was the first port of call on the first full day of our stay?

There is a series of signs at the start of Serangoon Road giving the history of this compact area north of the CBD.

It is worth getting into the side streets to feel the atmosphere and there lies many more eating places than show up on the usual searches. We ate at Khansama @Little India on the main Serangoon Road. Good food, but Hector could have chosen better, or have been given clearer information.

Anyway, one cannot come here and not eat.
