The Dogs Place – Anteou 3, Athina 118 52
The Dogs Place is located on Merkouri Square to the south-west of the Acropolis area. It is minutes on foot from Petralona metro station, two stops down from Monatriraki on the Piraeus line.
The Dogs Place opens daily at 10.00 until the small hours, so dropping by for a coffee early doors is a consideration.
First visited in September 2024, The Dogs Place was quite a find. Here is the largest array of taps found, to date, in Athena.
Sadly, some are from that Scottish brewery whose name shall not appear in these pages. However, anywhere serving Zichovec on tap, especially – 17 – Nectar of Happiness – gets my vote.
Having enjoyed the finest of Czech Pivo, Funky Fluid, Piwo from Polska was up next.
All future visits to Athena shall command a visit to these premises.
