Goose Island is an American brewery whose name I feel I have always known. Established in 1988, Goose Island remains the oldest operating brewery in Illinois. In 2011 Goose Island was sold to Anheuser-Busch InBev.
The Taproom is located west of Chicago‘s city centre, take the Pink Line to Ashland.
All Rise Brewing Company, Great Central Brewing Company, Midwest Coast Brewing Company, On Tour Brewing Company, and the quadruple brewing complex – District Brew Yards – featuring Burnt City are within a few blocks.
With Hazy IPA / NEIPA being the Bier of choice, there were few options.
Visited on a Sunday afternoon, there was plenty of space in the taproom. Service was efficient.
Hazy Beer Hug 6.8%
Hazy IPA / NEIPA
A partial haze, far from the full milkshake.
Thin tasting for the abv.
Lacking a big hop hit, too mainstream.
Hops: Amarillo, Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin

For the non-drinker, Cream Soda was available.
