Located to the north of Downtown Portland, inland from the Old Port area, lies Shipyard Brewing. A large Brewery Tap with an impressive store, Andechs ( Bayern ) should study this. The ramp to enter the Taproom is behind the counter, first time visitors may not realise this.
Arriving towards the end of Tuesday’s opening, we had the place to ourselves. There was a choice of Hazy IPAs, we had time for one.
Massive Haze IPA 6.6%
NEIPA
Gold, too muddy a haze.
Body matched the abv.
Too sharp.
The clothing store appeared to have caught someone’s interest.
