Time did not permit a visit to the actual brew plant on Germania Street, our visit here was a late night Brucie Bonus. Back in the day, Sam Adams was one of the first US Biers encountered that had something to offer, a cut above the mainstream. With an extensive range of Craft Beer on offer, one now has to question if they do compete with the newcomers e.g. Vitamin Sea and Dorchester Brewing Company.
The Downtown Boston Taproom has tanks in the window and behind the bar, such is the volume no doubt sold.
Why they insist on plastic for soft drinks was never explained.
