De Kelk – Langestraat 69, 8000 Brugge
Located a couple of stops east of Grote Markt, in 2024, de Kelk turned out to be the wonderful bar that everyone knew about except the Hector. So good, plans to visit the nearby Bauhaus were abandoned.
With a range of traditional Belgian Bier and contemporary Hazy, de Kelk was a revelation.
A large bar, with varied seating options, great service, it was a case of what’s not to like, and when are we coming back?
Closed Sunday & Monday, de Kelk otherwise opens at 17.00 until 01.00; 03.00 Friday & Saturday.
This is a decent late-night bar. Bus #1 runs back to the train station until 02.31.
