A proper micro-brewery, in an industrial setting, one felt at home on arriving at Jungle Juice, when we eventually reached it.
Located to the south of Pigneto, Roma, this is one locus where an Uber is the optimum means of access. Bus 16 to Montecastrilli leaves but a five minute walk. Frustratingly, the railway on the east side blocks other access to public transport.
Roma Casalina train station lies adjacent to Jungle Juice, but closed in 2003 due to the lack of passengers, making this locus even less accessible. The Brewery was founded 2014-16.
With this moniker, surely at least one NEIPA would be available on tap? Alas not, the usual story in Italian taprooms – we’ve sold out, it will be on again soon.
Since NEIPA always sells, have a backup!
And so a CAN, however, I have had Baba Jaga, a WCIPA, at 7.0%, and Choose A Fucking Big Television, a WC-DIPA, at 8.0% previously on tap, at other venues in Roma.
