Home of the Atomic Duck – Able and Baker were the code names for the first two devices detonated at the Nevada nuclear test site. Visitors to Las Vegas could once upon a time take a break from gambling to go and witness – the mushroom cloud. A duck was the only close by animal to survive the blast, hence – Atomic Duck.
Able Baker Brewing is located north of The Strip and south of – Old – Las Vegas in the cluster of microbreweries. See also, Voodoo Brewing Company, Hop Nuts, Nevada Brew Works, CraftHaus Brewery and HUDL Brewing Company.
A comparatively large venue with in house food served, there is a range of Bier on offer covering a variety of styles. There is a – Happy Hour – from 15.00 until 18.00, Monday through Thursday.
